The group survives on charitable donations, which funds any necessary equipment, clothing, and the group's bi-annual holiday to the Clwyd Special Riding Centre.

Recently, members of the group have also organised and carried out fundraising activities, including a 40 mile hike last July, and, most memorably, jumping out of an aeroplane (with a parachute).
